To actively fulfill its social responsibility in legal services and help technology companies enhance their awareness of intellectual property protection and build core competitiveness, on September 25, 2025, Mr. Wang Xin, director of Beijing Tengyu, personally led an expert team consisting of Ms. Xu Weihua, head of the International Department, senior lawyer Mr. Bai Lianyu, and patent lawyer Mr. Li Zhenan to Zhengzhou Hanfeng Science and Technology Enterprise Park in Henan Province to provide in-depth and effective public welfare training on intellectual property for companies in the park. This event aimed to safeguard the innovative development of enterprises through the sharing of professional legal knowledge.

Affiliated to Henan Hanfeng Group, Hanfeng Technology Industrial Park is situated at the intersection of Zhongxing Road and Bike Avenue in Zhongmou County, Zhengzhou City. Spanning an area of 170 mu (approximately 113,333 square meters) with a total construction area of 370,000 square meters, the park is designed to accommodate over 300 enterprises engaged in production, R&D, office operations, and service provision. Currently, more than 80 enterprises have settled in the park, among which small and micro-sized enterprises account for 90%, and leading industry players make up 70%. The park has created over 2,000 job opportunities to date.

Mr. Yue Chaogang, Head of Hanfeng Technology Industrial Park, extended a warm welcome to Tengyu team at the begining of the event. In response, Mr. Wang expressed his gratitude for the gracious reception and provided an overview of Tengyu's development history, professional strengths, and outstanding achievements in the fields of IP and international law. He emphasized that the firm always adheres to the philosophy of "clients first, professionalism foremost".  He also stated that Tengyu aims to share cutting-edge legal knowledge and practical experience with more enterprises through such public welfare initiatives, thereby effectively helping them mitigate legal risks and achieve high-quality development.

During the training session, Ms. Xu, being a senior IP lawyer, delivered an insightful presentation titled "Comprehensive Protection Strategies in Trademark Registration and Protection." Ms. Xu's presentation was comprehensive and systematic, directly addressing the pain points and blind spots in corporate trademark management. Starting with the "essence of trademark rights", she explained in detail the "pre-application protection mechanism," guiding companies on how to anticipate and mitigate risks before product launch.  She then delved into "protective measures during trademark application," helping companies understand how to handle unexpected situations such as objections during the publication period. Using "practical cases of special clauses," she vividly demonstrated how to use legal provisions to protect their rights. She also introduced other "trademark protection paths" that can be considered concurrently with trademark registration. She emphasized "risk prevention after trademark registration," covering key aspects such as trademark renewal, "cancellation for non-use" monitoring, and infringement rights protection. She provided companies with a "full-process suggestion for trademark rights confirmation" from creation to rights protection. Finally, Ms. Xu condensed the complex legal procedures into an actionable "core thinking summary," winning rounds of applause from the attending entrepreneurs.

Patent Lawyer, Mr.Li Zhen'an offered enterprises a fresh perspective on innovation protection and value transformation from a patent standpoint. His training session, themed "Patents: From Protection to Empowerment," covered three key modules:

1. Global Patent Landscape: A macro overview of the characteristics and development trends of patent systems in major global markets, helping enterprises establish an international perspective.

2. Core of Patent Protection: A systematic explanation of patent types (invention, utility model, and design), authorization criteria, and techniques for drafting high-quality technical disclosure documents—ensuring that patents are "effectively protected" and "sustainably valuable."

3. Patent Empowerment for Business Growth: As the highlight of the session, this module went beyond traditional protection-focused thinking. Lawyer Li focused on how patents can be utilized for technology financing, investment attraction, enterprise valuation enhancement, market competition, and even technical standard-setting. His insights aimed to transform patents from a "cost center" into a "profit center," enabling enterprises to realize asset-based operation of their IP.Combining technical depth with business perspective, Lawyer Li's presentation resonated strongly with the leaders of technology-driven enterprises in attendance, who actively participated in the Q&A session.

This public welfare training event concluded successfully in a warm and pragmatic atmosphere. Senior lawyer Mr. Bai Lianyu participated throughout the event and provided detailed answers to specific commercial law questions raised by the companies during the Q&A session. After the event, Mr. Bai also had in-depth exchanges with several companies, providing preliminary consultation and directional guidance on specific legal challenges they raised.

Management personnel of Hanfeng Technology Industrial Park and representatives of participating enterprises unanimously praised the training for its valuable, timely, and practical content, noting that it addressed many IP concerns encountered in daily operations.
